LKUV AIR RELIEF VALVE
IMPLEMENTATION
LKUV-2 is a reliable air relief valve that is used vertically on a pipeline or container that requires air discharge or before the inlet of a pump.

Example 1: Discharge of air in a pipeline where an air pocked is formed
during installation. In this case, the valve is mounted on the pipe.

Example 2: Discharge of air in a pipe on the suction side of a pump. Before the pump is operated, a vacuum is created to automatically discharge the suction side. This will prevent holding of air by the product leading to subsequent cavitation. In this case, the valve is installed before the pump, over the inlet pipe.

OPERATION PRINCIPLES
LKUV-2 is a dual-seat valve that contains a polypropylene ball which moves freely. The ball, which is lighter than water, plugs the top or bottom seat depending on the pressure conditions.

Note:
• Density of the product should be higher than the ball density
• It should be installed vertically
• Product should not contain additives
