TECHNICAL DATA

Engine
Engine size and speed vary according to the requirements of the work. IEC engine IP55 is used by standard; other types are optional.  It is RAL5010 painted as a standard.

Voltage and Frequency
3x380, 420V, 50Hz and 3x440V, 480V, 60Hz are the standards. All engine voltages and frequencies are available.

Threads
Various thread types are available according to the configuration. Normal synthetic or mineral oil is used as a standard. Optionally, oil approved for food applications, as a standard RAL5010 painted.

ATEX - option
Agitators can be supplied with a declaration of compliance with 94/9/EC directive for use in an ATEX environment.

Propeller standard diameter range:  ø125 mm  - 1900 mm. Specific sizes in drive unit and propeller(s) depends on actual configuration selected.

Standard Design
Alfa Laval bottom-mounted propeller agitators series is designed to address all needs of the customers. With its modular structure, agitators can be designed for all types of applications in hygiene and food industry. Modular structure has been designed to address the European and American hygiene standards and directives, such as EHEDG, USDA, FDA, 3A, etc 



Configurable Design
ALB type agitator design can be configured using the following components.

• Drive units (drive unit + shaft support + shaft diameter)
• Gasket installation (oil holder + shaft gasket type)
• Shaft (length)
• Energy Saving Propellers (propeller type + surface quality)
