SPC-2 REGULATING VALVE

IMPLEMENTATION
SPC-2 is a hygienic electro-pneumatic regulation valve for use in applications where main elements such as tank pressure, flow, temperature and level require sensitive controlling.

OPERATION PRINCIPLE
The valve is controlled remotely with electrical signal and pressurized air. IP converter which is an integrated part of the actuator converts electrical signal into pneumatic signal.  It is resistant to signal conversion and sudden changes in pressure. Pneumatic signal is transmitted to the integrated positioner which runs on the power-balance principle and ensures that actuator piston is directly proportional to the input signal. Signal range and zero point can be set independently. Actuator can be used for standalone sequential operation using a different measuring spring.

STANDARD DESIGN
The valve body consists of valve plug, gasket, head and external actuator. Headed actuator is connected to the valve body via a clamp. Since all moving parts are inside the actuator, it is protected against external damage and foreign materials. Actuator contains few number of moving parts and two main actuators cover all valve sizes.

Flow Dimensions / Pipe Fittings

Kv stands for flow rate in m3/h in a 1 bar pressure decrease when the valve is completely open (20 °C water or similar liquids). To choose the Kv value, the Kvq value should be calculated with the following formula:

               Kvq=    Q
                           ΔP

   Kvq   = Kv value in a specific flow or specific pressure decrease
   Q      = Flow rate (m3/sa.)
   ΔP    = Pressure decrease in the valve (bar)
